Table 4.3 Nucleotide sequence differences between ISAV isolated from the primary outbreak in Loch Nevis and segments 2 and 8 of ISAV amplified directly from kidney of wild fish. Samples were obtained from selected locations where ISAV had been previously detected by amplification of 155 base pair product of segment 8 ..
متن کاملThe spot sign is more common in the absence of multiple prior microbleeds.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Mural thickening and permeability changes in patients with amyloid angiopathy (CAA) and chronic hypertension are implicated in the pathophysiology of multiple, chronic subclinical microbleeds. The Spot sign, contrast extravasation on CT angiography, predicts hematoma expansion and is presumed to represent acute vessel damage. We hypothesize that the Spot sign is more comm...
متن کاملBayesian Approach to Estimation of IntraclassCorrelation using Reference Prior 1
For the balanced variance component model when the intraclass correlation co-eecient is of interest, Bayesian analysis is often appropriate. Berger and Bernardo's (1992a) grouped ordering reference prior approach is used to analyze this model. The reference priors are compared for the posterior inference with a real data and a simulated data. We examine whether the reference priors satisfy the ...
متن کاملBayesian analysis of software reliability models with reference prior
In this paper, we introduce a Bayesian analysis for non-homogeneous Poisson process in software reliability models. Posterior summaries of interest are obtained using Markov chain Monte Carlo methods. We compare the results obtained from using conjugate and reference priors. Model selection based on the prequential conditional predictive ordinates is developed.
